Richmond subdivision developer Wilshire Group Ltd has launched the Secret Garden stage of 66 houses, which will take the Mt Wellington project over 200 homes.
142 of the 146 so far completed have been sold.
The Secret Garden precinct is a selection of 2- to 4-bedroom architecturally designed terraces now under construction. They’ll be ready to move into from mid-202 to early 2021.
Wilshire Group sales manager Christie Wrightson said first-homebuyers made up three-quarters of owners so far.
In the buyer’s market following a slow winter period, she said buying new from plan enabled buyers to lock in today’s favourable market price with only a 10% deposit, leaving the balance payable only on settlement in 2020-21.
She said Mt Wellington’s economy remained strong, with jobs in the area steadily on the rise, thanks to flourishing local business & industry.
The DKO Architecture-designed homes within The Secret Garden have Bosch appliances, 20mm engineered stone benches & soft-close cabinetry, double glazing, LED lighting, water-conserving plumbing & natural ventilation. Every garage has a 15amp plug for charging an electric vehicle.
On final completion, Richmond is set to have over 500 terraces & apartments in 7 precincts. Every precinct is designed independently within an overarching masterplan which is interconnecting, has slow-speed streets & walkways connecting community green spaces, a gym & other planned community amenities.
Homes in the subdivision have been designed to suit a range of buyers, with 2 bedrooms from $715,000, 3 bedrooms from $825,000 & 4 bedrooms from $965,000. All homes have a 10-year building warranty.
