Subdivision consent has been issued for stage 1 of the residential section of Ravenswood Village, a comprehensively masterplanned community 25km north of Christchurch, and over 50% of the stage 1 sections have been sold. The village will provide 1500 sections & a commercial hub.
Ravenswood is 78% owned by Infinity Investment Group Holdings Ltd, the development company of Bob Robertson, who died last month. The balance is held by several smaller investors.
The retail centre will have 70 shops & services, including a range of large-format retailers, a supermarket & a service station. The village’s commercial centre, which will be established next to the State Highway 1 entrance, will serve a population of 12,000.
A showhome village, featuring 22 new display homes from many Canterbury building companies, will open in 2015.
