2 Harcourts auctioneers from West Auckland took first & second places in the Real Estate Institute’s annual national auctioneering competition, held over 2 days last week.
Harcourts also supplied the winner & one of the runners-up in the Rising Stars competition.
Aaron Davis (Harcourts Blue Fern Realty, Henderson) won the senior competition and Robert Tulp (Harcourts Cooper & Co, Hobsonville) was runner-up.
That competition drew 28 entrants, the biggest entry since 2015.
In the Rising Stars competition, Mark Morrison (Harcourts Auckland) topped the field of 13 entrants to win the Colin Brown Memorial Cup. Chris Greenhill (Harcourts Marlborough) & George Yeoman (Bayleys Auckland) were joint runners-up.
In the secondary schools division, held for the second year, Pippa Morris (Diocesan School for Girls, Auckland) was the winner and Max Hart (Kerikeri High School) was runner-up.
The senior winner & runner-up will represent New Zealand at the Australasian auctioneering championships in Melbourne in October.
