Cameron Bailey, based at Harcourts Gold Realty Ltd’s Papanui office in Christchurch, was named the agency’s No 1 consultant internationally at the end of its conference in Auckland last week. Harcourts operates in 10 countries.
The honour followed 3 consecutive years at No 2 internationally for Mr Bailey, who was also named New Zealand’s top sales consultant and top auction/tender lister nationally.
He said his rise to the top was an extremely satisfying reward for himself & his team after an immense amount of hard work & dedication: “It’s not really about the past year, it’s about the past 11 years of hard work. It’s really pleasing to have those long hours pay off with making it to number one.
“I think the key is having a great team, and understanding that real estate is a lifestyle and not just a job. I love Christchurch and know every corner of it. A genuine love of the area & the people who live here helps me do the very best for my clients.”
Gold Real Estate’s Papanui office was also named Harcourts’ No 1 office internationally.
Harcourts NZ chief executive Chris Kennedy said Mr Bailey got about 80% of his business through referrals or repeat customers: “That’s a sign of someone who understands how to put people first and achieve for them the very best results. Cameron Bailey is what Harcourts is all about. He’s been our top sales consultant in Christchurch for the past 4 years for good reason.”
