Auckland Council’s finance & planning committees meet this week – the finance committee to approve council group accounts, the planning committee opening with a submission from the Orakei local board on the conflict between intensification & its effect on single house zones.
Local board issues
Local board have long agendas as they conduct their first meetings. Many have distinct property issues to examine, starting with the names of new streets (and there are many of those). I’ve posted only a couple of board agendas, Waitemata with the Erebus memorial among many agenda items, Albert-Eden with the future of Chamberlain Park in its sights, but both with much more on their plates.
The Henderson-Massey & Waitakere Ranges local boards will both consider a proposed review of Project Twin Streams.

The diary is updated weekly and lists auctions, council meetings & agendas, hearings & submissions, economic release dates, events, Parliament order paper items and securities.
