The first statistics of note for the property sector in 2018 are the building consent figures – 12 January for the November consents, 2 February for December’s.
Auckland Council hasn’t introduced its website to 2018 yet, but too soon for any agendas to be posted in any case.
However, a couple of development proposals are out for submissions.
The diary is updated weekly and lists auctions, council meetings & agendas, hearings & submissions, economic release dates, events, Parliament order paper items and securities.
All Auckland Council agendas can be reached via http://infocouncil.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/. The council livestreams (and archives) Town Hall meetings and some other meetings. You can check those at http://councillive.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/.
Auckland Council’s consent hearings listings stop at December. As the council makes changes to its website, pages can be hard to find. This is the link to the page for submissions on consent applications: http://temp.aucklandcouncil.govt.nz/EN/ratesbuildingproperty/consents/getinvolved/Pages/currentpubliclynotifiedconsents.aspx
