The Warehouse has opened the new extension to its Westfield Pakuranga store, which has grown to 7000m2 and is part of Westfield (NZ) Ltd’s $14 million upgrade of the shopping centre.
Westfield’s plans for the centre include integrating 3 independent retail areas – The Warehouse, Pakuranga Galleria & the Westfield Pakuranga shopping centre.
Westfield’s national marketing & communications manager, Linda Trainer, said the Warehouse extension played an important part in the integration by providing a direct link to the recently revamped Aylesbury St, now the centerpiece of the whole development by giving shoppers a true “high street” experience. It’s been upgraded with 10 new stores and new fitouts for several existing stores.
Westfield Pakuranga has 3 majors – Farmers, Foodtown & The Warehouse – & 94 other stores, specialty shops & kiosks.
