A cross-leased Sandringham unit (pictured) sold under the hammer at Barfoot & Thompson’s city auction today, but dual-key studios in the Queens Residences attracted no bid.

At Barfoot’s auction yesterday, a Glen Eden property with consent for townhouses and a Sunnyvale property also zoned mixed housing urban were passed in, again without attracting a bid between them.

2 same-size Spencer on Byron apartments sold under the hammer at Ray White City Apartments’ auction today, with very different results.

A floor apart, the first unit up was out of the hotel management contract while the second was in it, and therefore caught by Auckland Council’s new tourism tax plus gst liability on top of the purchase price.

7 of the 18 homes offered at the 2 Wednesday sessions were sold, including one of the 4 intensive homes (a duplex, a suburban unit & 2 apartments) in the afternoon.

At the Thursday afternoon session, a Mt Roskill brick-&-tile unit sold under the hammer while there was no bid for one in Sandringham.

2 of the 3 standalone houses in the auction were sold.
